Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, protect and manage personal data when you use Komenze.

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Komenze website, hosted platform and related support services provided by Komenze Technologies Private Limited (“Komenze”, “we”, “us”). Our contact location is Panchkula, Haryana, India. Contact us at contact@komenze.com or for privacy and support requests at support@komenze.com.

Our role and scope

For account administration, website enquiries and direct customer relationships, we determine how relevant personal information is used. For workspace messages, tasks, project records, attachments and other content uploaded by a customer organization, that organization generally decides the purposes of processing and we process it to provide the service under its instructions and agreement.

Information we collect

Depending on your use of Komenze, we collect names, work email addresses, telephone numbers you provide, account and workspace identifiers, authentication and membership records, communications, support requests, billing and transaction references, and technical information such as IP address, browser, device and activity logs. Workspace content may include messages, tasks, files, approvals, integrations and other material submitted by users.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the platform; authenticate users and manage access; deliver messages, tasks and integrations; respond to enquiries; manage subscriptions and invoices; detect misuse; troubleshoot incidents; protect systems; and comply with legal obligations. Where required by law, we obtain consent or rely on another permitted legal basis.

Payments and integrations

Payments may be handled by third-party payment processors. We may receive payment status, transaction identifiers and billing details; payment providers handle sensitive payment credentials under their own terms. When your organization enables an integration, information needed for that integration may be exchanged with the selected provider subject to its permissions and privacy terms.

Sharing and service providers

We disclose information to authorized workspace users and administrators, hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processors, communication and integration providers, professional advisers, and public authorities when legally required. We do not sell customer workspace content. Providers may process information in different jurisdictions, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.

Storage, retention and deletion

Information is retained while needed to provide the service, meet contractual commitments, resolve disputes, maintain security records and satisfy applicable legal requirements. Retention and deletion of organization-controlled workspace data may depend on the customer agreement and administrator instructions. Backups may take additional time to expire through normal retention cycles.

Security

We use access controls, authentication, operational safeguards and security monitoring appropriate to the service. No internet service can promise absolute security. Customers remain responsible for managing their users, permissions, credentials and integration access. Report suspected security incidents promptly to support@komenze.com.

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about personal data we hold, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where permitted, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and assistance with privacy concerns. For organization-controlled workspace content, contact your workspace administrator first. We may need to verify identity and coordinate with the customer organization before acting.

Cookies and website technologies

The website and platform may use essential cookies or comparable technologies for sign-in, session security and functionality. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, their use and any required consent choices should be disclosed through the relevant website controls.

Children and changes

Komenze is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change; the effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
